The edition contains complete recordings of the operas Ernani, Macbeth, Luisa Miller, Rigoletto, Il trovatore, La traviata, I vespri siciliani and Simon Boccanegra. In addition there are highlight CDs of the operas Don Carlo, Aida and Ein Maskenball. In this edition the Verdi fan will also find recitals of famous Verdi interpreters such as Caruso, Domingo, Ricciarelli, Scotto and a CD with rare arias sung by Caballé. This high-quality edition is rounded off by outstanding recordings of important overtures and preludes by Riccardo Muti and the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala as well as a CD with the most famous ballet music.
