Combinația dintre un difuzor dual de 200 mm (8.00inch), cel concentric, și un difuzor de bas de 200 mm (8.00inch) este o configurație de mare succes în istoria Tannoy, iar Revolution XT 8F nu face excepţie şi se bazează pe aceste puncte forte. Noul Omnimagnet Dual rafinează și mai mult performanța basului cu răspunsul său liniar în fecvenţe joase și acuratețea timbrală excepțională, în timp ce noua sa secțiune cu ghid de undă Torus-Ogive oferă o extensie lină a frecvenţelor înalte, rezultând o scenă remarcabilă. Crossover-ul Revolution XT 8F folosește bobine cu miez laminat și componente audiofile, beneficiind de cupru fără oxigen de înaltă puritate (OFC) şi cablare placată cu argint. Incintele Revolution XT 8F utilizează cea mai nouă tehnologie Tannoy cu dublă cavitate, un sistem reflex integrat, cu cavități separate cuplate în interior prin porturi reglate, frecvenţele joase fiind direcţionate cu ajutorul unui port construit la baza incintei prin înclinarea acesteia faţă de talpa-suport într-un unghi calculat astfel încât să permită poziţionarea aproape de perete fără a altera calitatea sunetului.
