Nr. de discuri: 1It’s a sensation almost reminiscent of the legendary Cream Reunion at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2005: the team-up between ERIC CLAPTON and STEVIE WINWOOD that shook Madison Square Garden in February 2009. So forty years after Blind Faith, two of the best guitarists were back on stage together, playing classics that moved the world: J. J. Cale’s “Cocaine”, “After Midnight”, the Blind Faith classics “Had To Cry Today” and “Presence Of The Lord”, Winwood’s “Low Down” and a 16-minute version of Hendrix’ “Voodoo Chile”. They were accompanied by Chris Stainton (keyboards), Willie Weeks (bass) and Ian Thomas (drums), who already played the backing band for CLAPTON and WINWOOD at the Crossroad-Festival 2007. The whole thing was recorded and will be released under the title Eric Clapton & Stevie Winwood Live From Madison Square Garden!
